For those new to the site, welcome. These Pools are designed to put the die hard football fanatic and casual fan on and even playing surface, pun intended. All the Pools are run "against the spread" the points given the underdog, and using a consensus of Las Vegas betting sites. There are many ways or systems for making selections and one is as good as any other. My wife uses a combination of Astrology & cute team uniforms. She and my daughter won the Doubles Pool a couple of years ago this way. So make your picks any way you want, read every article, watch all the football shows and games, flip a coin or hit the random picks button you have just as good a chance to win. For those who have played before there are no major changes from last year except that we are dropping the Monday Night & Digit Pools. Check the Pools and Rules page for the complete rules this year. Registration is now open. The Weekly pool is "against the spread". You pick the winner giving or taking points (the spread). Most wins each week wins. The Season Pool is "against the spread". You pick the winner giving or taking points (the spread). Weekly results used and totaled for the year. The Playoff Pool is included in the Season Pool and is "against the spread". Top 16 players make the playoffs. You pick the winner giving or taking points (the spread). Over/Under lines and proposition bets will be included each week to help preclude ties. The match ups will follow the real NFL Playoff schedule in a bracket format. Beat your opponent and move on. Doubles Pool You and your partner's wins are combined to give a Team total. The Team that is leading at the end of Week 17 will be the winner. Survivor Pool You must be in the Weekly or Season Pool to enter. Pick one team against the spread each week to win. 3 losses and you are out. You can only pick a team once. High 5 Pool The pool runs the entire regular season. You pick your 5 best bets of the week from the entire weeks schedule. Most wins after 17 weeks wins. Two to Go Your weekly pick sheet is used for this game. Low player out is an elimination game where the lowest 2 (including ties) each week are eliminated. This game runs the entire Season or until only one player is left. Margin Pool You pick one team to win and receive the "Margin" or points that game is won by. You also lose those same points if your team loses. All games are straight up, NO "Spread". Winner is the person with the most points at the regular seasons end. Double Elimination Bracket Pool Your weekly picks are used for this pool. The brackets are set and you play an opponent, winner moves on, loser goes into the loser's bracket. One more loss and your out. The winner of the losers bracket plays the winner of the winners bracket for 1st place. The losers bracket winner must beat the winners bracket winner 2 times to win.
